The next update to Minecraft, version 1.2, is set to be released this week. Once again, please do not update until an annoucement is made here! The server-side software takes some time to be ready, and if you update too soon, you'll no longer be able to connect and play with us!

Not everyone is familiar with the server's map as some of us are, while others sometimes have trouble finding the one location they want to visit. To help with that, how would you like to have a nice dynamic map? :-)
The map is constantly updated with all changes done on the server, including construction, so you get a clear picture of how everything is organized. All three maps are included: the overworld, the Nether, and the End. You can move between those using the right sidebar, as well as select between overhead or isometric views. Online players are displayed as moving icons, giving you an idea of who is available in which areas.
I've been testing this tool for a while, and I'm sure it's one that many of you will learn to appreciate quickly. You can always find the map using the link in the website's main menu.
Due to a griefing attempt in Central town, I've had to rollback parts of the map. This only affects the general area around the spawn point, so you might have to redo some of the construction work you spent time on in the past two days. I'm sorry about that.
Of course, the offending players have been found and banned from the server.
It is possible for any players on the server to have their creations protected against unexpected modifications (or griefs).
With the Home Protection Program, your buildings can be set so that only you, or a list of authorized people, will be able to make any changes within a given area. This means that random people won't be able to place block, plant signs or burrow through your walls to find their way inside. This is used to complement the locked doors mecanism that you already have access to. You can also define friends to be able to work on your home even after it's locked.
To get this protection, meet me (Dr. Cossack) in-game and I'll take care of it!
The End, lair of the EnderDragon, has been reset. Any adventurers who wish to attempt the boss battle can now head to the Stronghold and try it! The map will be reset as needed, once a week at most, to give access to that part of the game to all players. This is also open to all those who already completed the battle, of course.
This has an important consequence: all construction work on the End is removed whenever the land is reset, so don't waste any time building permanent structures!
